24OZ
I'm using an aftermarket EMS in my 240Z, currently my stock tacho works as it's wired to the coil but I'd like to see if I can modify it and have it run by the "Tacho" Auxilary output on my EMS, but this only produces a 0-12V pulse and can only drive a low level tachometer. Has anyone tried to modify the stock tacho to accept a low level signal? I have a spare 240Z tach and a 280Z tach to play with, would be great to hear how I could go about it. Thanks. Daphur280
I've heard, but not ever was able to confirm or research, that you might be able to use the zx Tach resistor... dont quote me thought, heard something about it in a brief conversation with someone running msd or some aftermarket ignition system...
