Guest Anonymous Posted August 7, 2002 Share Posted August 7, 2002 I want to cut off my roof, and make it a removable sport roof simaliar to a Honda Del Sol, ar late model Supra. My concern is re-attaching it. Any one tried this? Or maybe you know someone who has? I'm not worried about the chassis because I'm already working on that aspect. If you have any ideas, or suggestions, please let me know. Before the why comes up, I think it would look darn cool, and it seems easier that making a convertable. Guest Anonymous Posted August 7, 2002 Share Posted August 7, 2002 Eddie, if you are talking about an early Z or zxs. There is a lot of attaching to get that rear hatch back on to the body. I have never seen it done. Convertible roadsters with rear caps, yes but the design of thr fastback coupe does not lend itself to a re-movable top mode.
