Guest Anonymous
I have rust on the top of my roof very close to the front near the windshield. Has anyone rewelded a new roof or made a convertible? Pros and cons of both.
Guest Anonymous
Check with Eric Neyerlin web page on both counts. He had some roof panels available as replacements for weld in and has about the only convertible kit available. Z Therapy has some videos for sale on how to make a steel roadster with an opening trunk web page If the rust is within 3 inches of the windshield...it would still be present in a convertible and have to be cut out. A convertible Z is great and a natural for San Diego but a lot of work. I have the Origin convertible kit and know a fella with the all steel Z Therapy convertible whick was a labor intensive endeavor that includes a TR7 rag tip. My kit came with a fiberglass hardtop.
