is it possible to fix nicks?

there's this guy selling an airdam, but he says it has nicks, but no cracks. can you fix the nicks? and do you think it would be obvious once it was painted? thanks!

Of course you can fix em!

 

The easiest way is probably to sand down the nicked area, apply fiberglass reinforced resin, then block sand smooth, primer and paint.

 

Is the spoiler already painted the color you want?

the dam is unpainted (black) and it's urethane...is that a problem? also, the guy said i need flexible paint, which makes sense, but does xterra yellow come in flexible paint?!

Your paint does not necessarily need to be 'flexible'. You can buy additives that make the paint work. Any reasonable paint shop will carry an additive to make the paint flexible. Lots of shops use this on newer cars' bumper covers, etc.
