Guest Anonymous
Have aquired a good condition Spook for the front of my 260Z, but came with no hardware or instructions (nor did the guy I got it from know anything about installing it), so...... 1. Looks like it should line up with the trailing edge of the exiting valance, correct? 2. Mount with nuts (or wing nuts) and bolts, sheet metal screws, pop rivets, or? I would like a recommendation here. 3. Anyone put a padding between spook and valance? (Thin foam ruber, or?) I know I don't want to induce any stress to the fiberglass, but given the downward force its supposed to deal with, want it to be a "firm" installation. Thanks in advance.......... Guest Anonymous
Thanks a lot. Pretty much as I suspected..........I will use something along the line of your aluminum strips. I come from a generation that does not trust double sided tape (even though I was a polymer chemist in an earlier life), so it will be the sheet metal screws. The car is lowered an inch, so I'm already planning how to change my driving habits to make the spook last more than a couple of days. Thanks, again, RacerX
