Guest Anonymous Posted November 27, 2002 Share Posted November 27, 2002 I just 'won' an aviation type gas cap from Ebay, Item '1872982775' which I plan to install on my 280 right rear quarter, so I can fill tank without opening hatch. My car has been customized and fender has no gas opening at this point so I need to put a hole in the quarter panel and install gas cap,,, then figure out how to connect cap directly to gas fill pipe. Anyone install or familier with this type of gas cap? If so I wonder how it installs in sheet metal? Whats easiest way to cut a 3.5 inch hole in nicely painted sheet metal?
