kevingorby Posted March 21, 2011 Share Posted March 21, 2011 Hello everyone. I have a 1977 280Z. The rear bumper end pieces have the typical partial split in the accordion section. I've tried a contact cement and a glue guaranteed for rubber/plastic with no luck. Does anyone know the right stuff to do the repair, or a place I can send them to to do a good repair? jkeese01 Posted October 14, 2011 Share Posted October 14, 2011 I would experiment by attaching something (hard plastic stick, etc.) to the back of the piece with the glue to reinforce. The glue may work better attaching the bumper piece to a support piece. Having the same problem with mine and am about to try that.
