Dingo240 Posted March 31, 2011 Share Posted March 31, 2011 So I just finished installing a 1978 5 speed into my 240z last week and while I was testing driving it I noticed a whining/grinding noise from the transmission on decel only. I got the box off CL so I don't know it's history. I filled it with 75w90 mobile 1. Any ideas? I don't mind attempting a rebuild if that's what's necessary.
