So I bought a 3.90 diff from a 280ZX for my 1975 280Z. The question is which Differential Mount do I use. . the one from 1975 or the one from the 280ZX? I noticed that Motorsport has one for 1972-78 and 79-83.

I hear a clunking sound when I let go off the throttle and I think the Diff mount is shot.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.!

You will need to use the 75 mount. Or wait till I make more RT mounts

The RT mount design braces and holds the diff from the top so that diff clunk will be eliminated. I run one of his in my car with great results as do many others. Look for Roostmonkey's posts/threads in the Vendor forums on the subject.
