Howdy everyone, I've owned a couple of z cars but this is my first hybrid z and have run into a little problem. I've got a '78 280z with a 305 sbc and a GM powerglide transmission. I am having hood clearance issues. Currently the car runs great but I'm forced to run it without an air cleaner right now b/c there is not enough room for one, and I've been looking around on the web for a fiberglass or steel cowl induction hood. I've thought about buying an aftermarket cowl and having it fiberglassed to the hood, but factoring in cost and time, I would prefer to purchase a completed one. I've come across only a couple and some of the websites I've seen them on seem kind of shady or underdeveloped. Any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I sell a 4" rise cowl hood if you need a lot of room.
