Hey Pallnet, I emailed you today, asking about a rail. Email me back whenever it's convenient?
  2. I've looked at the FSM and online at tons of pics, but can't quite figure out if my vacuum lines/hoses are ran to the correct areas? I have 2 lines coming from the firewall, but only one is connected to the vacuum box thingy? Has anyone got a better diagram I could use or if I post pics of mine, can you tell me what goes where? Previous owner had a bunch of them unplugged.... Thanks
  3. Nevermind

  4. Oh well... Price bump, as I had the wrong price posted. $100 plus shipping
  5. Thanks for all the help everyone! It'll be a couple weeks before I get back to the car. It only has 110k miles on it and like I said everything was working prior to pulling the old engine? I can't say anything about the spigot, Chas, as an old school mechanic friend of my dads helped me swap everything. He put my old flywheel, clutch and PP on one day when I wasn't there. I'll look into replacing both slave cylinders, if bleeding doesn't do the trick. I've never been good with transmissions...
  6. OK, no synchro is good news, lol! It's the original trans. I'm hoping bleeding will fix it, but I won't get to try until next weekend or later... Same clutch and PP. Not sure what you mean by spigot bearing, but we used an alignment tool to get everything, aligned... The clutch has to be disengaging or it wouldn't go into the other gears, correct? I'm hoping it's just got air in the lines, but I still don't understand why all the forward gears shift fine, but reverse doesn't....?
  7. Pulled my blown engine and swapped it with a rebuilt block last weekend. Every gear shifted fine, including reverse. Fired it up last week, went to 1st, and it grinded a little, checked the slave cylinder and it was dry? I just filled it up before the engine blew. Anyway, we got 1st through 5th to shift without grinding, but reverse grinds, just a little and won't go in, unless the car's not running, then, it'll go right in and work after starting up. Please tell me the synchronizer isn't shot and the slave might just need bleeding? Thanks
  8. Parting Out 82 ZX PLEASE LOCK THIS

Just wanted to do a final bump before I scrap it out tomorrow. There's a few things spoken for, but lots of parts left. After tomorrow, this will be locked.
  9. Polished Valve Cover with "Z" Cap SOLD

If redneck1545 doesn't want it, after I price shipping, I'll let you know.
  10. Well, the description on ebay said 70-83 Z and ZX, but I knew there was a difference. It was on my 83 ZX, and I only had to open the core support holes up maybe a 1/4" of an inch and everything lined right up!
  11. I bought this from a fella on ebay, it doesn't have a name on it and I think it's for a 70-78 Z, as I had to modify the mounting holes on my ZX to get it to fit, but not too much. It's in great shape, a few fins are bent in, due to handling, but it doesn't leak! The parts car that I bought had a good radiator in it, so I just put it in, when I swapped engines. I also bought a polished cap for it. I'm asking $100 plus shipping. Thanks EDIT: Dropped price. Wanted to add that I was using the stock mechanical fan, but it didn't get into the fins. Some of bent fins were from shipping and I think I bumped my knuckles on it, when I was reinstalling everything.
  12. I'm selling my Polished Valve Cover, with Polished "Z" Cap, that I bought new and only had on my car a couple of months. I just decided to return everything to stock on her. It looks beautiful, if there's other polished/chromed parts in the engine bay or even alone! SOLD
  13. MSA Ceramic 6-2 Header (Square Ports) SOLD

    Sold, please lock this.
  14. Parting Out 82 ZX PLEASE LOCK THIS

OK, after this weekend, I'm going to scrap this thing! I'm gonna take out the trans, tail lights, and pedals for the few people interested and junk the rest.
