I did look for the answer on here so please be nice if this has been discused in a previous post. My under the hood frame rails have some rot on them and im looking to replace them, I looked at baddog. For the 280z it says that they weld over the existing. I need replacement will these work or would I just be covering up the problem?

thanks

Those are the wrong rails. He means the ones the front bumper bolts to. You pop the hood, your harness runs right down them. You could make them super strong and use 2x4 steel. I know there are kits out there just don't remember where.

The zfindings rails should be the ones he needs. Looks under front frame rails.
