Yesterday on a popular public selling forum I ran across a 1980 ZX 10th anniversary edition (black and gold), and it has been parked since its restoration 10 years ago in a concrete floored barn. It looks nice enough (rust free, under 30k miles, clear title). Did I mention it is the original owners son selling the car? His father passed last year and left him the car which he doesn't want. So the question I have is: is the car worth the 3900 he wants for it? Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Challenger- will definately try that as i have yet to get it going. we had a death in the family and the z had to be back seated. ThatGuyFromGates- Did remove the fuse panel and checked all connections when diagnosing before and all came back clear although I did clean all the terminal clips (a few had light corrosion)

Update: Sorry for being away so long. I'm back! I have replaced both fenders and am about to cut the rockers and rear quarter panel. The car is getting moved again from Cottage hills to brighton so I can sort out the electrical proble. everything is going smoothly. pictures to come

First update: Got all my body parts in a week ago. Thanks to all who have sent me interior parts and such with special thanks to Daniel (dhp123166) in So Cal for going to ceck out local Z part outs and for going to the junkyard out there. This has been a great help and I really appreciate it. We should beging cutting this week as the friend I have with the welder should be back in town. No further picture changes to report. It seems to be really coming along although my slight wiring problem baffles me.

Alright so my wiring is solid at the fuse box and the fuses are all new and good. I thought it was a bad common ground but it isnt.... I'm at a loss again

Love the story man. I'm in the middle of a resto myself and know how it is. Luckily mine runs and drives but has a lot of rust. Good post though man. Would love to see it in person someday.
