Installing Eibach Progressive Springs for 240Z

I was wondering if anyone can help me here. I just purchased some Eibach Progressive springs and KYB's GR's. The front assembly is on the floor. I installed the struts into the sleeves no problem. Then I put the springs in, no problem. I used the springs with 001 number. I called up the Z store to find out on what side is up, they said that it didn't matter. Attached is some pictures of my situation. These coils have a little bow in it. Is this normal or did I get the wrong struts......help

Nice, powder coating is my next endeavour. The intake was sandblasted by a friend of mine with glass beads. I tried course walnut shells on my engine compartment and that was a big disappointment. I didn't want to use to much of a course material because the metal is so thin. So here we go with the old fashion way. -
Apparently the previous owner sprayed the front air dam and the side skirts with non flexible paint. Will taking walnut shells through a sand blaster get this incompatible paint off? I am thinking so I just wanted to see if anyone has tried this before.

Wow that's cool. I am in the same boat. I just bought a sand blaster and having a lot of fun. I just cleaned up my stock intake manifold. Looks like new. How did you get these pieces to look like that. Alex
