  1. Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I thought it was cool to see someone else has a Cummins conversion on here. I use a tiny tach too. I've got a '79 f-150 with a 4bt in it. What do you have?
  2. Sorry if I worded it wrong. I get what you mean about the injectors. Unless you can properly tune you will never be able to get the air/fuel ratio. I'm going to get rid of those. My injectors are old and 1 leaks. I also have and a bunch of unnecessary vacuum hoses causing leaks I was hoping to eliminate by installing this intake. Plus the EGR delete. The throttle body just happened to be an added bonus. I get your point. Thanks for the help.
  3. An increase in power isn't my end goal for this stuff, although it would be an added bonus . If I use this intake I'm committed to converting to a throttle cable since the throttle linkage mounting has been ground off. So do you think my best bet if I want to use this intake is to buy a set of stock injectors and get rid of the turbo ones?
  4. Thanks. That helps clear things up a bit. Any experience with the 240sx throttle body?
  5. Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. I came across some goodies recently and couldn't pass them up. I bought a dewebbed l28et intake with turbo injectors and an aluminum fuel rail. It also had a 240sx ka24 throttle body already on it. I have a basically stock 77 280z l28e I have been battling with various vacuum leaks and fuel leaks due to rotten hoses and leaky injectors. I thought this package would be a nice upgrade and it was a good deal. I have done some research on installing these items, but I was going to ask for advice on the whole package. I've read mixed statements about the turbo injectors and the use of the 240sx throttle body. Any incite or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Taylor
