  1. haha its okay if it was. 9 out of 10 cars in modified are ricey as hell! then there are those every so often super clean cars that are more about performance and are actually DRIVEN! i like to think of my car as one of those. i was trying to get out of the honda scene because i hate waking up every morning and hoping my car hasnt been stolen. but i am getting sucked back in. like, the last car show they had in san francisco at japantown, there were 20 super nice nsx's lined up and at the end of them there was a 1972 skyline. i didnt even pay attention to the nsx's and i went straight for the skyline. my tastes are definitely changing and it almost feels like i am dumping a girl i love for a fat girl that is rich. (the girl i love being the 240 and the fat girl being the nsx)
  2. haha yea, I GOT POO ON MY STRUT BAR!! it said spoon at first, then it said poon now it says poo. and yea, its turboed. i just replaced my wastegate spring to run 10psi and the dyno was at 218 to the wheels. pretty good for a 1.5L single cam engine that was made for economy. and car that weighs just over 2200lbs.
  3. id assume it stays mine, unless they try to buy me out after its done and compensate me for labor and the cost of the car. im not sure on the details yet. im sure they will have a lengthy contract for me to sign. luckily, i have lawyers in my family who can translate all the contract mumbo jumbo and keep me from being screwed over. ill know the whole situation in a few weeks.

  5. here are a few of the fit taken a couple months ago. many things are different about it now. i have to call the photographer next week to schedule an appointment. but i was told that after those pictures are taken, i am not allowed to post any more pics of my car until the issue comes out. idk why but whatever. here ya go.
  6. well. i would have already had a 240 if i wasnt so strapped for room. i think i will end up buying a two post lift so i can put two cars in one place in the future. or maybe rent a storage garage to put one of my cars in. i dont know. i am getting ahead of myself now.
  7. ahhh, gotta love honda and their interchangeable parts. ahaha. is that the lambo pearl metalic flue green? very nice color. my buddy has a gallon of that paint sitting in his shop and nothing to paint that color. hahaha
  8. that is very nice!! but i think i would be building an NA1. that is a NA2. as nice as NA2's are, i just dont have the 60 to 80 grand that it takes to buy one. i only have 26k in the bank. enough to buy a well kept 91-98 nsx.
  9. hahaha okay okay fine! ill do the nsx!! that is if the meeting goes well with the president of j's racing in a few weeks. here is my plan for the car so far. -buy an NSX-R engine and trans from japan. send it to j's and have them build it for a high boost application (low compression, forged internals, yadda yadday)to handle twin turbo -british racing green paint job w/ flat black j's racing decal scheme (to make the sponsors happy) -flat black volk re30's -j's racing big brake kit -rear body work to delete the stock wing and install a j's 3d fx wing -titanium exhaust with dual j's dolphin dick mufflers i know i know. kinda ricey. but thats how they like it in japan. oh and dont you guys tell anyone my plans for this car hahaha. i probably shouldnt be posting them but oh well. nothings for sure just yet. also, what sucks is j's makes NOTHING for the nsx so i am going to have to use bits and pieces from other cars to make it. at least my fabrication skills are up to par.
  10. haha seems that the general consensus is to do the NSX. i am still debating. i had my heart set on a 240 and i know that the 240's are getting more rare as the days go by but i know that if i build the NSX, people will take notice and it will open up many doors of opportunity for me. i think my biggest problem with the situation is that i am scared that if i build the NSX, my heart wont be in it and it wont turn out as nice as if i did what i had been planning on doing.
  11. okay, so here is my dilemma. i have spent the past two years building a spoon themed honda fit. it turned out really well. so well that i am getting the cover of modified magazine and people trying to sponsor me everywhere i turn. so here is my problem. my plan all along was after i was done with the fit, i was going to build a 240z with a rb26dett for a show/track car for myself. but last week, i got an offer to build another honda with a full j's racing sponsorship and since they have never built an NSX, thats what i want to do. i pitched them my idea for the car and they loved it. every part for the car will be comped except the car itself. now i only have enough money saved up to either build a 240 or buy the NSX and have all the parts for free. my heart is with the 240 but building this NSX could possibly turn into a career for me. i am torn and i have no idea what to do. what would you do?? thanks for your input.

  14. sounds like he is downloading torrents or even worse, playing wow. hahaha. now is a good time to learn about creating networks between computers and constantly close the ports he is using for his torrent downloads.
