I for one don't give a rats ass about the poor little turtles and fishies that are dying. I am most pissed about all the wasted oil.

Then you are no better than the morally corrupt oil barons who have single handedly destroyed one of the most important marine ecosystems in the world. Get your check from BP and take the pill.

 

dhp123166, if I remember correctly you are in Georgia and are in much closer proximity to this disaster than myself but I share your outrage and disgust at what our fellow man has done and the lack of responsibility and the absence of a shred of moral fiber anywhere in our government or bp. As these events unfold in the Gulf, here in Nebraska the oil company TransCanada is pushing to build a pipeline from Canadian oil-sand fields across the great plains to Cushing, Oklahoma. This pipeline will run across the largest intact freshwater reserve in North America, the Ogallala Aquifer. Oh how short sighted we can be.

Oh if only the old testament covenant was still in effect.
