VH45DE intake manifold idea...

OlderThanMe

Here is an idea for the intake manifold for my VH45. So far this is just the runners runing from a plenum. I have made a few plenum designs but none that are satisfactory as of yet.

Sketched on my own copy of legally obtained Solidworks 2007 student edition(2 year license).

I am having some problems with installing COSMOS on my laptop. Not quite sure why. The error it was giving me aparently usually happens with S.W. 2007 on XP, not Vista.

I still have to decide on ITBs or a single/dual TB on the plenum. I'll have to do a lot of machine work for the ITBs but I think it would be worth it.

Just in case you were wondering, I can't get to my PMs from on campus but I can get to the HBZ albums and that is why I haven't responded to them. I won't be able to get to them until mid-December... Oh well.

No measurements on this model are exact as of yet. Just close to what the VH should be. I believe there is also an offset that some of the passenger side runners are set back toward the rear of the engine a little bit. That is not shown here.
