Good question. I don't know. Should I block it off? I'm trying to figure it out. Where does the rear bypass water tube connect to ? The one that goes around back of engine. Where is the PCV valve also ? Any help please? Thank you.
I am not able to screw the thermostat housing connector (pipe) into the thermostat housing, because the carbs are in the way, as seen in pic. 70-72 housing I believe. N42 head, F54 block. Any body else have this problem? Thank you very much.
I have the fuel rail and pressure guage in the pics. If I get a pressure guage adapter, the one you just screw the pressure guage into. The adapter also has an inlet and outlet for fuel lines. In able to get an optimal fuel pressure reading, where would you put the guage? Wouldn't it make sense to place it right before fuel rail? Before going into carbs. You wouldn't put it after the rail would you? The return line after going into carbs. I have a fuel pressure regulator in the appropriate spot. Holley UB12 or something like that. I also have an electric fuel pump fueling triple Mikunis. Any info? Thank you very much.
There is a hole in the rear drivers side of the engine block. In the pic it is in the blue area to the right of where it says Nissan- Japan. To the right of the block plugs. It looks like their's a bolt in it, in the pic. What's that hole for? Thank you.
I want to run my fuel line as in the pic. It shows a fuel pressure regulator and a guage. What's the difference? What does each do? I thought I knew but now I can't remember or find any info. Thank you very much.
Yes I have those hose barbs on the bottom of carbs. So the return fuel goes through them, then back to tank. How does it cool the fuel? Thank you very much.
I don't understand what your saying Tony. Could you maybe draw a picture and post it? I don't know where the cooling ports are either. I'll put the regulator in the right spot. PHH carbs. Thank you very much.
I have this fuel rail for my Mikunis. I want to run the fuel line along the firewall to the carbs. I want to run a return line to the tank. What is a good way ( good looking) to run the return line? Back along the fuel rail or under the carbs, etc. I can't seem to see any pics that show it. I've read where you run return fuel on cooling bodies on bottom of carbs. What does that mean? Any info? Drawing or pic would be awesome. Thank you very much.
I'm doing the R200 diff. upgrade. I have the chequered flag stub axle, companion flange. The Z31 cv half shaft conversion. Do i need the shims (washers) - pic. on the ends of the spacer? If I do, where can i get them and what are they called? Thank you very much.
I'm putting the Z31 axle upgrade into my 71. I took apart the ball bearing cage and got some new ball bearings from Fastenal, because some of them were pitted. I've seen some where how to put them back together, but i can't find it. Can someone help me? Thank you.
Does anyone know the layout (position) of the manifold bolts with headers and triple Mikunis? There's 2 different sizes of bolts. There's regular bolts also that go into the head through the carbs, isn't there? N42 head. Any help? Thank you
On the stock Z with SU's, the line from the evap. tank goes to the flow guide valve in the engine compartment. That's what I'm asking. If I run diagram A, where does the evap. line go to? Thank you.
I was going to run Diagram A on page 7 of fuel delivery, under the heading best practice for triple carbs. What happens to the line going out the evaporator tank? Where does it go? Triple mikunis and L28 in a 71Z. Thank you very much.
