  1. Not sure if this has been covered already, but aren't most of the autometer electronic speedos programable? And if you have a programable one their website says that you can change tire size or gearing whenever and just re calibrate it, so based on this would we even need to find a different cog to match whatever rearend we have?

  2. I used to drive a lowered and fixed up integra and was coming home from the gym. I wasn't speeding and was coming up to a intersection and the light turned yellow tried to brake, but realized I couldn't stop so I blipped the gas and went through. As I was going through I noticed a cop sitting at the corner of the intersection ( thinking to myself oh f*#%). Needless to say he pulled out and followed me for bout a mile and finally pulled me over. I explained that I tried to stop, but didn't have enough time. He let me off with a warning. He then proceeded to tell me that I have a nice lowered car with wheels and stuff, and it'll draw "attention" from the police. So basically he told me that he profilled me and my car. Even when your doing nothing wrong and you come up to a cop with a bad attitude look out.

  3. I found this at rhd Japan

The NISMO Super Coppermix Single Plate Clutch High Power Spec SR RB is the high power spec type of Super Coppermix which can handle 420ps. The great thing about the NISMO clutches are that they are very high performance products, but keep their everyday driving comfort.

The NISMO Super Coppermix Single Clutch uses a 240mm size damperless disc and aluminum cover combination to improve the overall cooling performance of the set up as well as the transmission. A lightweight flywheel is equipped which is made of special chromoly to achieve the ideal weight for maximum torque. The clutch cover is made from a special aluminum with a high heat-radiating ability.

  4. I was told that this is a series 2 rb25det motor, I know there is a difference between coil packs but im just learning mechanical things, Im more of a body fender guy. I was wondering if anyone can tell from these pictures I took, when I was taking these I noticed the second coil from the timining belt cover is facing the opposite way, same way with the one second from the other end, is it supposed to be like that, and the last thing that concerns me is the ecu, i searched the numbers from it and I get one place saying its a series one and another a series 2. Im asking cause i was going through a shop for all the motor work but recently lost trust in them, so Im just double checking I got what I paid them for.

  5. Its about time i update this post, got a oil pan from pat1, new fuel line kit, r200 rear end and mustach bar. As for the car itself finshed the body work installed new "custom" 1/8" steel frame rails. Put the car in primer and painted the engine bay and the underside of the hood black. I also have decided to do the rest of the swap at home with my dad instead of going through a shop to do it.
