-
man, get that s*!t, the biggest question u should ask u'self is y the v8 when u can do skyline
-
as far as i know the diff' 'tween the 240 & 280 are really minimal in weight, but major in suspension and strenght, but that set aside, i dont care what vildini said u cant compare the sr20 to the rb25, if im wrong then put a sylvia vs a skyline
-

-
if ur goal is only 400hp dont bother with the rb26 and roll with the rb25det u'll save alot of time and money, also u dont have 2 wait on mckinney 2 come with a kit everything u need is out there now if u look

i could use a turbo for the l28 block, ill be using the 60mm t-body so my goal as far as hp will be around 350 to the wheels
I think we are overlooking a big part of hellraisers combination. First off the power goals, 450-750 is a pretty broad range. If your going to go with a 90MM T-body I would assume your going to use at least 3" intercooler pipes and a core that is going to flow. If this is the case I wouldn't be looking at A GT35 unless you are going to use two. If you want a responsive turbo that is going to fill the large area you are creating go GT4067. If you don't want to spend $1450.00 or so look at a properly sized "T" series turbo. If you don't mind useing off brand turbos I have very, very affordable units that work just fine on cars under 750hp or I can build all Garrett units affordable. Good luck. -
i just realized that there is a typo on the thread it should be 450-75 500 hp being the limit as ive read is also the safe limit on stock internals of the 25det, i do have the 90mm t-body and in the works of getting the "greedy" intake the cooler is fairly large and ended up getting the gt35r, the missing ingredient is the correct size injectors for my goal
-
whats ur goal ?
-
how do i get some of these mounts guys are getting from rick wong, my motor is dying to get home
-
yeah top mount t3/t4 flange

im doing the swap r8t now and so far ive spent 1450.00 motor and 5 speed 450.00 race exhaust manifold and intercooler will spend about 1700.00on gt35r turbo and stand alone comp and harness, if u just do the basic swap rb25det are on ebay 4 about 2500.00 with all the bits u'll need for the swap less the mounts and oil pan which will be about 500.00 i dont see why it should take u over 10,000.00 with the good bargains going on r8t now, take ur time and u'll be fine as these motors gain popularity here in the u.s it'll get easier
-
depending on how much power u want out of it and how good u are fab' work u should be well under the 10k mark even if ur not you'll still be around that mark
-
the ball bearings are sopposed to be the latest tech and hard to break and the lag is pretty minimal ive read. with constant oil change and good coling its sopposed to last as long as the motor,so ive read does any one have one of these turbos and can compare the gt to the gt-r's, ive been cheap before with parts and its bit me in the butte, so this time i want to do it right from the beggining
-
sounds good, i'll need the intake injectors at 550cc, fuel rail, and the gt30r turbo, tial bov,sds ems prob something im forgetting so if u can give me a total that be just fine
-
most likely ill go with the gt30r, but im new to turbo set ups so i was looking for advice of members with more experience, the gt35 seems too big or am i wrong
-
how much was the intake im thinking of going with the greddy but yours looks like it has a built in fuel rail
-
i got my bare block and want to get about 450-75hp out of it was told to go with 550 cc injectors, and a gt30r turbo but they are kind of high , price wise, so my question is what do u guys think about the t04e from garrett or any suggestions to get me to the range im looking for, already got my 90mm throttle body and planing on using the greddy intake unless someone knows a cheaper intake to go with, these swaps really drain the pockets.
-
