  1. Does anyone have any experience or ideas on how to re attatch the rubber window felt to trim piece that is on the outside of the door where the window rubs? I don't know why it was taken off, I got the car as a project. It looks like the original attatchment used some type of staple.

  2. The street is 40th st east heading north, up by the aqua duct. I'm going to wait for the weather to cool down before I go back to the track. I'm hoping to get a high 11's at palmdale.

  3. Here is a picture of the LSD test. Sorry the piture is fuzy (cell phone camera) I put in a NISMO LSD and I'm very happy with its performance. I'm hoping to drop into the 11's at the drag strip.

  4. If you need to swap the ends you might not have one of each side. The drivers side should be shorter than the passenger side. Double check your axles. Are you using MM sports adapters? I used the MM sports adapters and the 280ZXT axles and I have no binding problems at all not even with the suspension completly extended.

  5. I have not had a chance to really test it due to the grinding noise. I took it back out of the car to inspect it and have not put it back yet. Im waiting for a couple parts from the local nissan dealer. I will give an up date after it is back in the car and tested.

  6. I just finished swaping out the open carrier for a NISMO LSD unit in my R200. I have been running 280ZXT axles with the open carrier with no problems. The installation of the LSD unit went perfect. Everything went back into the car with out a problem. The axles snaped into the diff. no problem. On the test drive I could hear a slight rubbing/grinding. It turns out that the axle on the passenger side of the car is making contact with the diff housing right next to the axle seal. The axle is going to far into the diff. The axle snaps into the splines with the snap ring and everything looks good. The axles are in right as far as the overall length, side to side. Any help would be great.

  7. Well it was it was fun, but it needs a lot of the bugs worked out. After nearly six years it was nice to have it move on its own. Header leaks, TV cable too tight, not getting full thottle, seat not bolted down ect... By the way Sanderson CC134 block hugger headers will not work on a 240Z, TOO BIG!!! I'll post some new picture in the photo album.

  8. It worked, ground one of the terminals. Mine needs calibration badley, I was going 140 mph ( or so the speedo said ) around the block and put 4 miles on the odo. I unhooked the ground wire until I have time to do the calibration.

  9. I did so more reseach and found out that one of the terminals needs to be grounded and the other sent to the signal tab on the speedo. ( autometer electronic ) It appears that it dosn't matter which one is grounded. As soon as I have time I will try it and post the results.

  10. The guys at Bowtie overdrives response to this question was. Try one of the terminals and if it dosn't work try the other one. You shouldn't need to buy anything to make it work. Good luck. Im a good thee weeks out before I will know if I picked the right terminal. Im trying the top terminal first. If you get a chance to test this please let me know. Thanks
