  1. I followed this set up to the letter. After everything was installed and bled, the pressure to push the pedal is way too much. I thought something was wrong with the master or slave cylinder so I disconnected the slave from the clutch fork and pushed the pedal. Everything worked fine and of course no pressure on the pedal to make the slave cylinder work with nothing attached. I decided to look into the clutch. I took the pressure plate and clutch disc out. Nothing looked out of the ordinary. I am not sure where to go from here. My set up is a Gen I sbc with a WC T5 trans. The clutch is a stock mid 80's camaro clutch. Anybody have ideas of what I should look for?
  2. To answer my own question from a while ago. I got the Summit block hugger headers part # SUM-G9060 and they work great. No clearance or fit issues what so ever. And if you are on a tight budget like me they are only $129.
  3. Not crucial. Just a piece of the puzzle. I would like to keep all the dirt, grime and wet out of my clutch.
  4. Will do Z2go. Although I think its going to be a modified soft seal or lots of RTV on the original.... But I'm still looking!
  5. I am trying to find a replacement clutch fork boot for an '89 camaro WC T5. I ordered one from summit (soft seal #2196) but it is not the right one. Their website says it fits and when I called them they have conflicting info from soft seal, so they gave me a refund. None of the local parts stores carry it. If any one has a good part number or knows where to get one please let me know. In the pic the one on the left is the original (torn up) and the right one is the soft seal ordered from summit. As you can see the right one is too large for the hole in the bellhousing, otherwise I think it would work.

  7. Has anybody tried the summit block hugger headers? Or any other low priced headers?
