I also like the fact that the Megan/McKinney kit has preload adjustment so you don't loose travel by lowering the car. I am happy with my Megan/McKinney kit, just waiting for a resolution on the clearance issue. I haven't driven it very hard, but the little time that I've pushed it I've loved it.

Considering how pricy the early turn signals are, I think I might adapt the body harness to fit the turn signals.
Or if you don't care, go by some male/female plugs and hack em both up.
I think you're right. I actually found some plugs in my collection to adapt the body harness to the turn signals yesterday. I'm going to go that route. I don't need these anymore.

Hello all,
I need two 3-prong harness connectors to adapt the 240Z turn signal harness to the 280Z body harness. I am doing a 240Z turn signal conversion to my '77 280Z and already traded away my 280Z turn signals/harnesses.

Looks good to me 503Alex, but i am in no position in giving you advice, im no suspension expert.
I am curious though as to why i havent seen anyone else have a rear camber setup like you as in adjustable camber like the front setup. How did McKinney convert the rear coilovers like the fronts for camber?
Thanks, I believe Arizona Z car, Techno Toy Tuning, and a couple others have camber plate setups. Mckinney made the rear coilovers to accept these camber plates instead of putting the stock top hats on the top of the rear coilovers. They use allen bolts to hold them in place on the slots of the camber plates which you can adjust.

Just got around to installing the rear coilovers. The camber plates are lined up how they fit on top of the strut towers. Does this look ok?

Alright, took a few shots at the big VW show in Ocean City MD this past weekend, I'm hoping to get some better shots when it isn't raining. I really want to drop the car another inch or so, then it would look perfect.
Looks amazing! Love the color combo, lip, and fender mirrors. Mine should look similar in a bit, although in Bronze exterior/Royal Gunmetal combo also with the Type 1 lip.

I just visited the Pagani factory and they have a Zonda Tricolore with a blue tinted clear coat over the carbon body. Fantastic finish in person, I know it would look sweet if you did that with yours.

Thanks man! I'm excited, I still have to install the rear coilovers, and get the tires mounted and I'll post pics. The pics I sent over were with the stock setup (ridiculous wheel gap with my current wheel/tire setup).
How did the stock studs work out with these wheels? Is there decent engagement?

Ordered them last night, and they'll show up tomorrow. Going to get them mounted when I get back in the country on the 16th. Super excited to see how they look with my new Megans!

Mike, that's a good idea, Mack@McKinney says they're looking into this issue and may increase the lower spacer height below the camber plate to make it clear. This is great news. I'll try and post up a picture of the adjustment knob, I believe I have one with the fender on somewhere.

I put a spacer under there, but it still won't allow the hood to completely latch and I can't make adjustments to the dampeners with the spacer in there. Haven't tried longer bolts yet. I really would like to keep my hood uncut as it's in really nice shape.

I tried that and unfortunately it still won't clear! Good suggestion though. That is pretty intensive, my dad's car had the adjustment on the bottom of the dampeners too.

I just installed my front Megan/McKinney Coilovers today. I plan on using this thread to post up photos of the process and info on the install. To start off with though, I have a major problem, and that is that the dampener switch won't fit under the hood with the hood closed
. The tops of the towers were cut off to install the plates, and they couldn't have been cut lower to avoid this problem. Photos:I POR'ed the area and will repaint the engine bay eventually:
New ball joints, tie rod ends, bumpsteer spaces, many parts POR'ed.
I will post all of the detailed photos I took with my SLR, but I wanted to post this first to help get a resolution to this issue. This is a beautiful kit, and I'm loving it except for this issue.

I love your car, nicely done. I see you have the T3 TC Rods, I've got those too, they're pretty awesome. I think I'm going to have to copy your Megan muffler set-up, it's perfect, angle and all.
