  1. x2 what Snailed said. My 280z had a similar problem, but mostly lugging and not wanting to accelerate, thought it was a faulty fuel pump but turned out to be a clogged filter near the fuel pump. Double check then get back with us.
  2. Looks good man! How long did that take? You gunna shave the rear smooth? Also will you convert over to fuel cell or make some protection for your gas tank? I too have taken off the park bench of my 280 and worry about soccer moms in their SUV's ramming into me.
  3. I have mine rigged(not really how i wanted) but i have a paperclip bridging power to the fuel pump, no paperclip, no fuel! I doubt anyone will know how the EFI relay works so thats my best bet. Disconnecting the starter solenoid/removing the ignition coil i do aswell only when leaving the car for a few days. I really don't want people to steal my car haha.
  4. I am at school right now, so I am working off my memory, unscrew the EFI relay and bridge HOT wire(blue i think) with the wire going to the fuel pump(one of the green ones)-like when veiwing the connector the blue should be on the left and the green should be the bottom middle, i think there is a total of 3-4 green and 1 blue, anyway bridge them with a paperclip. Right now that is what i have to do to get power to my fuel pump. Not sure exactly why it not getting power(since it gets grounded in ECU) on its own but with Key-on the pump initally primes..but when started it loses all its power, but bridging it it retains its power. Works for me...
