  1. I will try to keep my grammar a little more legible, i know what you mean by saying you couldn't understand what i wrote. I did do some research on this forum "Toyota l6" and i didnt really find some other questions i had im not asking to be spoon-fed but can you maybe direct me to a good thread to read. I was wondering about what the 1jz should come out of if it matters.

  3. hello my name is Jake i am very interested in doing a swap in my 1971 240z(this will be a weekend car mostly and summer car) i have done a ton of research on the rb25 and have a good grasp on how that swap is done, however i have seen a substantial amount of jz1/2 swaps done. First question i have is what all is involved in the jz1 swap and does it differ from the jz2, is there a manufacture that makes the mounts or will they have to be fabricated same for the drive shaft and oil-pan. What transmission should be used with the jz1/2 swap. Is there anything major that must be done. Also what is the cost difference in the Rb25 vs jz1 vs jz2. And what are the pros and cons for the jz engines. Thx,Jake Oh where is a good place to get a reliable motor
  4. thx for your concern i am not ready for one yet i am hoping to pick up a full swap on here of a partial swap i am going to try to do it on a budget around 5grand but we will see how that turns out lol. I am sure i could use some of ur advice i have seen alot of your post,"im not stalking i swere"lol but you seem to know what your talking about thx,jake
  5. This is a rediculouse build i mean you have done every thing possible you must have a ton wraped up in that thing, it i had the money i would do the same thing tho lol,excepti wouold have used rb26dett. keep on going man good work
  6. Hi i am starting a build on an old 240z i was wanting to know what you guys think about this engine. Is it worth it,does it seem like its in good condition. The transmission grinds a little but never pops out of gear. The engine has the following upgrades.Arp head studs the tomei head gasket, jun style intake manifold, q45 throttle body pallnet top feed fuel rail, 440cc injectors, spec stage 3+ clutch, and the megasquirt system with coilpacks and spark plug wires. It needs a turbo system from the header to the trottle body,however it does come with a t3t4 turbo that needs rebuilt.Oh and the best part its a NEO. He is asking 2500 and i pay for shiping.
