I do not belive the clusters are the same size. but I was also thinking of doing this. ill take them and get the specs for both.

thanks guys, thats what i was afraid of. This is going to be fun! I am an electrical certified mechanic but this is a little over my head i have never done something of this magnitude. but basicly your saying that i can use most of the original harness in the 280zx and splice in the r33 connectors? J

like the title says. were can i send the r33 harness and the s130 harness and have them make me a kit? J

ok i just got my tranny in and it did not come with a throw out fork. does anyone know the part number for this item? or maybe a shop that sells them. J

ok when i got my front clip it came with an auto tranny. the comapny i tried to order it from told me to contract mid jan. to see if they had recived and manual trannys. they told me they had a tranny and have not responded to any inquires that i have made sence then. thans was a bout a month ago. my question is were can i find just a manualtranny for a rb25?

ok, do you know if the exsaust outlets on the RB25 are the same as the 26?

so what motor mounts do i need?

im sorry if its ridiculous but yes it will be a weekeknd project with 4 guys on the team. i just want to have everything if there isnt a way to mount the motor with the stock mounts i want to make sure i can do it i hate waiting for parts that i missed

ok im just trying to make sure becouse i have heard that the mounts on the 280z are different then the zx. i just dont want to get started and then not have what i need you know just being cousious. thank you for the info but it is a diffrent motor, just want to make sure that the mounts will match up

ok i have heard alot of diffrent ideas on mounts for this motor ive heard that the stock mounts will work they only need to be drilled out, ive also heard that i need to fabricate my own and that the z31 mounts are needed. to be honest i dont really know which one to belive. any help would be greatly appreciated

osakajdmmotors.com carrys the rb motors they have the rb26 for 3000 with tranny, ecu, wireing harness, ac, powersteeing pump and a few other things check them out there located in canada for those of you in the US which means no IMPORT TAX yah. they carry a larg assortment of motors take a look.
