Hey so it has come to my attention that to have coilovers on your z31, you have to do some cut and welding to mod your s13 coilover to your z31 strut tubes. but theres another way but its a little more costly.Ive been told that using S13 spindles with S13 lower control arms and just bolt up the coilovers and it will work,but the pictures that i have seen most car owners do this mod on 88 Z31. I did quite a bit of research and it seems to be that the 88 300zx tention rod and bracket are different then then my 86 300zx, so the question that i ask is would i have to change my tension rod bracket and get new rods to use the spindle and lower control arm OR will it work with my stock 86 bracket and rods? okay so I bought my new slave cylinder and one of the lines from the slave to the damper was really tight in the slave,so of course i had a hard time,after using line wrenches,almost a bottle of wd40 i decided to use my torch and i totally melted my line right of FML

Okay il check it for sure<but also do you think the return spring has anything to do with it?

hey so as you can see my dilemma is my 86 300zx turbo. When i put my foot on the pedal and press it down just a little bit it rushed to the floor and does not come back up.I have tried bleeding the system and i changed the master cylinder and of course i dont have a pedal,and when the pedal is to the floor i cant even engage into first gear. Also i have a stage 3 clutch,would that be a source to a problem? Plz help i want my car back

lol well i tried to take out the unit and it didn't work out so i sprayed WD-40 on it the let it to try then after a bit i got my high beams back but now my left side light has no highs or lows

Alright well i did what you said so all my lights work except my high beams but i don't know how to remove my switching unit and i would get a new one would i have to go to a Dealership?

well thanks for the help guys but i still have my lighting problem anyone wanna help, why my high and low beams dont work.

haha yeah sorry it is a vg30et as you can tell im super newbish, but i always wanted an rb25 in the z31. and have you ever encountered the no high beam or low beam problem?

Hey guy my name is Al and i just got my Z31 t-top for 1200$. Now the guy i bought it off already swapped a Vg30det into it but im looking for more power i want to put a rb25 into it and so i was wondering what do i need for this swap other then rb mounts and custom cross member? and i my high and low beams don't work anyone got any idea why? Thanks
