  1. Need a driver's side tail light lens with a good chrome strip so I can complete my tail light restoration. Actually the chrome strip is all I need; condition of the lens doesn't matter. PM me or email: tvollnogle@gmail.com
  2. I'm rebuilding the tail lights on my '70 240Z and need the plastic chrome strip that goes down the center of the LH tail light lens. The "chrome" needs to be in good condition, but broken pins on the back are acceptable. Thanks, Terry
  3. I need the 4 C clips for holding the hatch vent plenums on the year hatch on a '70 240Z. Below is a picture of the clips and plenum. Thanks Terry
  4. I'm reassembling my windshield wiper assembly on my '70 Z after replating all of the parts, and the torsion spring on the pivot assembly at the motor/gearbox is broken. I also have 2 other windshield wiper assemblies which have the same broken spring. This is evidently a common thing? I did a search of all of the windshield wiper related issues and found nothing. I have a couple of questions: 1. What is the purpose of that whole spring assembly? I've analyzed it and can only figure that it might be for protection of the motor and gearbox if the wipers were frozen to the windshield or something. Part of the problem with my analysis process is that I don't know how or where exactly the spring ends attach since the ends are broken off all of three of the springs which I have. 2. Does anyone have pictures of a good assembly and unbroken spring so I can see what the spring is supposed to look like and how it attaches? In talking with Z resto shops, I'm told that the whole arm assembly is NLA, which is the way it has been repaired by most in the past. I think I can manufacture a spring if I know exactly what it is supposed to look like and where the ends attach. I'd also be willing to buy a good spring if anyone has one. Here is a link to pictures of the assembly portion I'm referring to: http://s301.photobucket.com/albums/n...ield%20wipers/ The pics are acually from two different assemblies that I've taken apart. Thanks for any help anyone can give. Terry
  5. Below is a link to the JC Whitney weatherstrip that some people have used with good results over at the Classic ZCar Club where this weatherstripping issue rears its head on occasion too. If you contact Whitney, they will send you a sample. I got the sample and it looks like it will work well. I think I'll be trying it when I get my car off of the rotisserie and into reassembly. I'd take a pic of the sample for everyone but I'm out of town and won't be home until next week. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Search?catalogId=10101&storeId=10101&sku=wd819909n&searchbtn.x=11&searchbtn.y=11 Terry
  6. Thanks Datsunlover, but I just found one from another club member. Apprectiate your response. I'll keep your info just in case. Thanks, Terry
  7. I need an unlighted series 1 rear window defroster switch that goes in the console on my '70 Z restoration project. The switch was missing and the wires cut under the radio when I bought the car, so I'm not sure if the wires to the terminals on the dash harness are connected to the switch or a separate 2-wire (?) harness, but I need those also. I would be willing to take a later model lighted switch if I can't find the period correct switch. You can PM me or email at tvollnogle@gmail.com Thanks, Terry
  8. Found one- Thanks everyone. T
  9. Need a good fuse block for my '70 240Z restoration. I would like one with no melting or charring on the plastic. My wires are in good shape so can reuse the old cable if necessary. PM me or email to tvollnogle@gmail.com. Thanks, Terry
  10. Need a working early model 240Z 4-wire tachometer for my '70Z. Thanks, Terry Update: Thanks to all who responded. Bought one from a fellow member. Terry
  11. Found some wheels. Thanks.
  12. Jay (blairjj), Sent you a PM. Terry
  13. I need a set of 4 original 240Z steel wheels to use with my hubcaps. I can be PM'd or emailed at TSEKC@aol.com Thanks, T
