Hi everyone,

I had a 1971 240z about 5 years ago and i sold it due to not having money but now I found another one which it has a l28 engine. the guy is 75 years old and he is the second owner of the car. the only thing is that the car is not running and I'm trying to find out what is wrong with the car and if it's worth to buy and fix.

Here is the things that i know about the car:

1971 240z with L28

He said ----- he drove the car for 100 miles and drove it back home to his garage, the next morning he tried to turn it on but he was not able too, the engine turn, there is spark and it's getting fuel. he cleaned the carburetors and changed the spark plugs but it still doesn't run, the best that the car can do is to turn on and stay on for less than 3 seconds.

1) does anyone have an idea whats wrong with the car

2) should I swap engine ( can I do it with 4K ? )
