Before i start ive used the search function and cant find anyone with a similar problem. I Got a 72 240z with a 3.1 stroker from a friend a while ago after he gave up on trying to get it to run properly. The car won't rev past 4500rpm in neutral or under load. It has triple weber 40's with a fpr and gauge that shows 3psi when under load. I know he messed around with the timing and synced up the carbs. But other than that we have both been stumped. Any ideas on where to start next? Or what might be a possible solution?

Shifter hole is set farther back on early Z's. I believe '72 is when they were moved forward.

Hi I'm looking for an adjustable cam gear for my 3.1 stroker motor. Not picky on the brand will take nismo, jun, kameari, azc, tomei, or others. Must be adjustable up to at least 6 degrees +\-. Anyone have one they are willing to part with? I'm in sf so let me know what you want for shipping

So I just finished installing a 1978 5 speed into my 240z last week and while I was testing driving it I noticed a whining/grinding noise from the transmission on decel only. I got the box off CL so I don't know it's history. I filled it with 75w90 mobile 1. Any ideas? I don't mind attempting a rebuild if that's what's necessary.

Hey guys I'm trying to decide which route to go with for an air cleaner for my triples. I've looked into what K&N has as far as single and multi unit assemblies, as well as ITG's and Ramflo. Pricing all seems to be the same so I'm more interested in peoples experience with different brands. Which ones have have given you the best performance in terms of filtering, durability, and R&R? I would just run the air horns if it wasn't for those damn dusty roadsîŒ

Anybody running either the AZC clutch and flywheel setup or JWT clutch and flywheel combo? Anyone have any information on either?
