So my main concern should be hub, not the steering wheel?

Guys, after working long on my 1978 280z its finally comming together, I have to put on a new steering wheel because the one that it has its the original and it doesn't have a horn button. I need to get the inspection on it. So my question is will any steering wheel work as long as I get the correct hub assembly? And if so can you post some pictures of your steering wheel so that I can get ideas. Thanks
