  1. sorry it took me so long to post on here guys, but I kinda forgot about this site. Here is a link to my completed swap from a few years back..... http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=258953&page=1
  2. Yeah I have a couple. Here is one from when the car was untuned with no Fuel Pressure Reg. Dynoed at 386 on 7cyls. It was running way to rich and fouling plugs and o2 censors! http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g54/lowdedz/?action=view&current=LSZDyno002.flv And here is a Compilation Video with the old look before I re-painted, new wheels, and front end............ http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g54/lowdedz/?action=view&current=Jim1.flv
  3. yeah I should have known that anyway as small as Sumter is. The guys off of NICO are actually having a meet in Myrtle Beach on July 14th if you are interested in attending. It is just a skip down the road fro you.
  4. It actually took me about a about a year. However, the reason being was, I bought the motor while my Z was still running with the N/A motor. The LS1 motor sat in my my garage for like 6 months while I still researched more on the swap. I decided if I didnt go ahead and take the first step and take out the N/A motor, Then I would never get it done. So from the actual time it took from pulling the N/A motor to putting in the LS1 where it was drivable, it only took about 3 months.
  5. Whats up guys? I have'nt post on here in a long time but I figured I would get on here to and give you an update on my car. It has been running strong for a year now with no probs. I am very happy with the swap and would def recommend it to anyone who was considering. Here are a few pics of the car now with the new paint and wheels. Sorry the only motor pics I have are with the old paint........... -This is the pic with the old paint
  6. I guess we will see as far as the ground clearence.....There was no way in hell I was going to cut my hood, I want a clean swap and the car to still look fairly stock.. (minus the 285/30/18 in the back)
  7. here are some more pics, http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g54/lowdedz/LS1Swap015.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g54/lowdedz/LS1Swap029.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g54/lowdedz/LS1Swap026.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g54/lowdedz/LS1Swap037.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g54/lowdedz/LS1Swap041.jpg
  8. Yeah same way with me, Vann and I were communicating by email for like 2 months and he was helping me alot with the swap, but then all of a sudden I didnt get a reply from him and it has benn about 3 months now. But I thin he stays pretty busy between work and school...... What did you do about gauges and what kind od radiator are you planning on running?
  9. Oh...if you are in houston, then you prolly know Vann(white LS1 swapped Z) or maybe have even seen his car b4. No, I dont have AIM but you can just email me LOWDEDZ@gmail.com
  10. yeah the reason my firewall cut is so low is for hood clearence so and mine only clears by about a 1/4 inch so good luck with yours! that is interesting about the way you are doing your mounts, I am curious to see how they turn out. Send me some pics ASAP. BTW- where are you from?
  11. did you takes pics of your crossmember? I will post some more of the pix that I have........http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g54/lowdedz/LS1Swap004.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g54/lowdedz/LS1Swap035.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g54/lowdedz/LS1Swap022.jpg
  12. me too, my crossmember is finished and the motor has been mounted like 3 times now so it fits great. Now we are fabbing up the firewall. My car was originally a non-turbo automatic Zcar so I had to put in the clutch pedal assembly and I was planning on using the LS1 clutch cylinder but It wont fit properly so I am currently working on getting the Z32 cylinder. What did you decide to do about your gauges? Are you going to try and run A.C.? What radiator are you going with?- I still hav'nt measured yet for mine.
  13. I wasnt sure what headers to go with so I thin I am going to stick with the stock one for now. How much longer do you have on yours?
  14. Well, it's been a while since I have been on here asking questions about this specific swap, but I am finally (after 8 months) getting close to being finished. the motor is in the car mounted and the wiring isnt far from being complete. I'm not sure how many more have been recorded for completion but last time I was on here there were only 2 I can remember: Vann and Adlashwa. Anyone else since then????? Jim Cola. S.C.
  15. lets not all help at once now guys!!!! lol........ My swap is pending upon this information.
  16. I am converting from the 300zx na automatic tranny to the 6speed tranny and I was wondering if anyone could give me a specific list of what is needed. I think all I really need is a stock 3Z clutch master cylinder and the clutch and brake pedals. Please help............thanks
  17. What body styleyear Z are theses specific mounts for??? I am trying to get some for my 92 NA Z
  18. Adlashwa's email address is "swmmr4u@aol.com"--------42.50 shipped
  19. Camaro5842, Did you buy your manual diresctly from adlashwa? I ordered on about a week ago from him but I have not yet heard mback about it. I really need it ASAP! I just bought my LS1 with the 6speed tranny today and I am takin my 92 NA motor out this week. So I really need the manual
  20. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with ADLASHWA??? I need his manual ASAP. thanks
  21. One of the most important questions I have about the swap is the wiring part. Does anyone know what kind of harness I will need or special adapters for the ECU. Also, where can I buy the REAL LS1 to Z32 motor swap manual???
  22. I have been wanting to put a LS1 swap in my 92 300zx N/A forever but I dont even know where to start. Does anyone know if any companies make a kit for it that would have the custom driveshaft, motor mounts, harnesses and etc?????? Please help me out.
