My 79 is a GL model with all the bells and whistles....some of which were removed because it did not work any more....the AC, cruise control.....
-
Diesel flap would be awesome!
-
You need a fuel pressure gauge inline after the fuel filter somewhere to see what the pressure is. Jegs or Summit have them for about 30 bucks. 0-100 psi.
-
How much does the thing weigh?
-
That z car up there at the top is messed up! Sacrilegious! Who would ever do something so ignorant! What ever, to each their own....
-
-
For sure is my car, but where did you see those pics? Do you got the link?

this should do it...
Those might be pics he SAVED from ELSEWHERE. I might be mistaken in thinking that this is his car. If I am, my bad.

See my thread in the builds my Track toy ( 305 SBC ) has a fia cage and my ZXR has one aswel
Well this forum is big and I am having a hard time finding your build thread. Ignorance might play into this but do you have a link you can share? Kinda like a short cut....

I will update the drawing in few week
Nismo, is this your car or is this Skib's car over in Ratsun? These seem to be the only pictures anyone posts of a ZX roll cage. The pictures are identical right down to the placement of the duct tape on the roof to hold the dome lamp wires from falling down!
-
Looked high and low for ZX specific roll cage pictures. Very hard to find. If anyone is willing to help, please post them here. Looking for placement, fitment, options and ideas. Thanks!

How much money do you have? L28 turbo works just fine, costs less, and horse power is adjustable...no boost....10 pounds of boost!
-
Very impressive work. Are there some engine bay shots that we can peep at?
-
Looking through this build is quite inspiring. How long do you think that JB Weld will hold?
-
Very impressive roll cage work!
-
Looks good, but need more engine pics to satisfy the visual hp urge.
-
I just finished going through this build and I have to say it is very impressive. You have done some great work and it makes me want to do the same thing to my z. Very awesome!

Wow, how much am I looking at for the gas cylinder?
The cost of gas cylinders depend on what size you run. The most popular is the 80cf size. The bottle and the 75/25 (argon and carbon dioxide mix)will run you about 150ish dollars.

Sounds Russian or something to me.
Yeah man, get that photo up.
-
That looks like surface rust only. I have use muriotic acid from the automotive paint store. It does a fine job lifting the rust up. Then use a rag to wipe it down.. Always use gloves, eye protection, and a mask.

Check the ignition switch. It passes 12 current to all the aforementioned gauges.
-
Have you mocked up the intercooler yet? If so, you may need to use a hole saw to create a passage through the radiator core support to fit the pipe through. Not all intercoolers are made the same.
-
If the previous suggestions don't work, try placing the old unit back in to see if it is reading fine. If so, then the wires could be switched.
-
I have used Marvels Mystery oil.
Just about any lube works though.
-
Yeah, I think it is a factory replacement. I would like to have one too. My 79 didn't come with that particular one either.
