Swapping a L28ET into my '80 280ZX and going to run MegaSquirt'n'Spark-Extra. Theres so much information out there and so many different ways to go that I'm having trouble putting together a shopping list of things I will need to get to do the install. Trying to go the KISS route and dont want to have to run around getting things as I need them.
Current Shopping List:
1) Buying prebuilt MS v1 ECU running MSnS-Extra
2) Buying prebuilt universal wiring harness
3) need GM Air temp sensor
4) need potentiometer TPS (need information on what to get here)
5) suggested GM HEI module for ignition over the built in megasquirt ignition
6) fabricate a pipe to replace AFM which wont be needed anymore
Can anyone expand on this list? Any more sensors I need, wires or connectors? Please be specific and include where to obtain it.
Things I have:
1) have laptop and cable to program
2) have 60mm TB from a maxima (just FYI)
3) L28ET motor, complete with distributer and wiring harness
If you can list the parts you needed to do you MS setup then that would help too.
