Sounds a lot like the problem I had with my map sensor on my civic. Just like newzed said I would look at the afm and related sensors

hell yeah holla at yah boy! lets get um done so we can hit up the races and track at the Q fridays!. saw a Z the last event pushing a 280z motor with a hot cam. car was pretty beat up but ran great. definitely motivated me to get mine done at least reliably. hit me up bro todays my day off 619-787-7671

Depends on your goals and budget. I bought an ebay turbo kit, turbo afm, injectors, harness+ ecu for about the same price cockerstar has said (im stuck on wiring though). But you best place to start is assessing what your goals and budget is and to then research and study which plan of action is best for you

I guess i'll wire it up and see if the injectors fire and if not i'll try using an later model (79) ecu and see if I can tune through fuel pressure and different sized injectors

I have been searching and can't seem to find an answer. Im wiring a stock 81 turbo harness onto a 79 L28(some sensors wont be used) that's in my 73 260z. I have the ignition wired na style so the ecu wont be involved controlling spark but since I do not have a cas, will the injectors still run? I know i need a signal, like the later models used the coil pulse, would that work? Maybe a better alternative going aftermarket? I've been looking through tons or wiring diagrams and it seems like most 280zx diagrams are incomplete so if anyone can shine a light on my noobish wiring woes it would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

IIf you search this is a common occurance, its a lot easier and cheaper to just rebuild it (the reaction disk).

How much is this header worth?
-
Interesting, do you know or can any one else chime in some more info for this header? What can I do to contribute info about this less known header?
-
It says hooker super competition but a quick search around has lead me with no results on the quality, gains, or worth of the header. If anyone knows any info about this header it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
