  1. i received my mckinney mount kit about a week ago... still haven't had time to throw it in....
  2. I tried swapping them out, since that's what was in there before , the rb25 trans sensor is deeper, and wider .
  3. I started to swap trannies, the speed sensor is well... a sensor not cable drive ,so that's out the window, it was a pain to put up the trans in the tunnel and bolt it to the motor And now the speed sensor unit hits the tranny mount , and on the other side the tranny itself touches the tranny mount...ugh. Any ideas?
  4. Haven't been doing too much, sunday I picked up a lot of the parts for my 240sx, then cleaned and orgnized the garage and parts, and yesterday i started preparing to get dirty again.
  5. Yeah , I think I want to get an airdam, preferably some sort of bre style. And the tubing is from the hardware store , for water/air . It's high psi rated and high temp rated as well and best of all:it doesnt kink.
  6. Wow!, Those look awesome, can't wait for the finished product.
  7. I've had this '78 since early 06 and bought it with an rb25 swap already in it and running. but it did need quite a bit of work here and there. Mainly electrical work . Since then it has gone through a few changes and ups and downs but i've kept it since i'm very attached. Two years ago aprox. i broke the rb20 trans that was in the car and bought an rb25 trans , then just recently due to a whole mess of work/home/financial issues i decided to jump back on it. I recently bought a mckinney driveshaft, corbeau seat and bracket, and i'm making this thread to show the re-making of a car i love , even if it is rusty and crusty. On to some pix: The motor shortly after i bought the car What the car looked like before i bought it and before 3 major hurricanes hit back in 05(try to remember) When i bought the car i traded the stock wheels and panasports for an ae86 corolla gts and bought epsilons for the Z After i got man sized tires and lowered the car i discovered a lot of bondo and shotty bodywork and like any self respecting person woulkd do , i went crazy Then got more creative: By this point i had gotten a bigger intercooler fixed electrical gremlins, and lightened the car quite a bit...and did some cleanup here and there: Fast forward to now:
