  1. Thank you. No. It appears my only option is to edit my post. But that's fine to leave it for history's sake. All good.
  2. Thank you for your response. Looks like I closed a deal over the weekend for a block that's not far from my home here in L.A. Next question.. You know how to delete a post here? Thanks!
  3. Sadly, I don't have the ability, equipment or manpower to pull an engine from a car. Thanks tho.
  4. And in a perfect world, one in So Cal that I can pick up. Thanks!
  5. Thank you but I've purchased a head.
  6. Looking for a shop/mechanic to build a bulletproof bottom end for my 240Z for time trials and canyon carving. The goal is a dyno reading of 185 HP to the wheels running 91 octane with a compression ratio of 10:1 using my current triple Mikuni 44s from my L24. Head work to be done by a different shop unless your recommendation has built you an engine that can run at 100% for 30 minutes on So Cal high dessert tracks. Thanks!
  7. Looking to build a bullet-proof L28 that runs on 91 octane with my Mikuni 44s. Thanks!
  8. Wow. Thank you for sharing this. I will definitely steer clear of it. Sorry for your loss.
  9. Looks right to me. Be careful on the passenger side tho. If you put it directly across from the drivers side mirror, you may not be able to see into it.
  10. Personally, I'd go with the smaller 40s. I have triple 40s on my L24 and they are awesome. I have an upgraded electric fuel pump, adjustable fuel pressure valve too. You'll need to customize the Webber linkage or you'll find the triples will get hung up the longer you drive the car, the higher your idle RPM will climb. I'd also recommend ceramic coating your headers and the biggest possible heat shield under the triples. Without the heat shield, fuel will boil right out of the carb closest to the fire wall. Ask me how I know.
  11. Excellent. Is that the tach with the wiring in back? And how much is that one? Also, was tach with the wiring fully functioning when It was removed from the Z? And lastly, do you have a closer pic of the inside of the gauge pod and plastic cover so I can see what kind of wear there is? Thanks.
  12. Very nice. Did you install an on/off dash switch to turn them on? Or do they go on when your headlights go on?
