i used a johns car kit in 91 on a conversion and I thought it was horibble. the engine sat to the far right side way forward in the compartment. Unless things have changed I would use JTR. I built all my own stuff on my current project. but used the jcr manuals to get alot of the info. Found other ways to do things cheaper than they say but you have to be able to do some fab work and use your imagination. For instance I am running a T56 on an 68 396BBC the clutch had me scratching my head they suggested a centerforce conversion that cost almost a grand. I built my own with McCloed clutch and pressure plate and Howe hyd throw out bearing and have maybe 350.00 in it and it works perfect.

I dont know about putting a big block mopar in a z but I have a 396 big block chevy in mine fits quite nicely I might add. I,m not sure what the width of the mopar big blocks are but I bet it will fit except the Hemi heads will probably be to wide. break out the tape measure and get with it . Its fun not having what everyone else does I will email a picture if you like the one I have is to big a file for this site.
