  1. It's nice to see reply's that don't bash 44 magnum for the question. I have had questions and have wasted numerous hours searching this site for answers, and get none. Love the forums without a few snobs, were all here for the same reason. Whats a used car worth? The only answer is "it's worth whatever you want to pay for it"..
  2. Just got my stock 77 280z factory tach working perfectly.for the sbc .I bought the resistor that everyone says you need and ordered the msd tach adapter that everyone says you need.. Had to waite for tach adapter to come in the mail. I got bored and thought would experiment. Pulled the tach out of the dash and hooked from the msd box tach port to the large post on the back of stock tach(red wire) no resistor or anything just a wire and slight tuning on dash pot and works perfect...
  3. I would agree that the pump is loud, i could really tell from my wife's facial expression on her first ride. Will keep it in there until it wears out, and the stock pump is landfill. Will keep in mind for later though...
  4. I like the idea of CV's down the road(little pricey right now), but the shaft hoop idea is good for short term. There seems to be a lot of different opinions about the stock half-shaft set up...
  5. My 77' 280Z V-8 swap is real close to hitting the road. Trip to town for exhaust is all that is needed. Car has medium built 327, T56 Tranny. I am real excited to get it on the road but i have this over whelming desire to move to Holley fuel pump from the stock location which worked really nice and clean. My problem is the thought of breaking a half-shaft u-joint on the right side and completely pulverizing the pump and fuel lines, with the huge possibility of a fire. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone, and i have been told that i worry too much... is this the case?
