should i just change the ditsy for a new or rebuilt on or get one from a junk yard if i can. all the vacumme line seem to be in good shape

i messed with the timming on it already and for some reason it idles better when i retard it almost all the way but i lose my power so i put it back to 10 btc like the chiltons manual says. it seems to run best there maybe a little advanced but then it smells of raw gas.

what else on the ignition would be wrong i already changed the wires with accell 8mm and cap and rotor plugs are boch platinum 2s and the coil is a msd blaster 2. the car pulls hard up to that point. well any more suggestions would be awsome thanks

hey all i have aproblem past 4,500 it seems that it just has no more ummpphh. i have replaced the cap rotor plugs wires coil cleaned the throttle body.and replaced the cat with a magnaflow high flow one that helped a little.. thanks all

where can i pick up a fuel regulator. or can i just get a universal or is there one just for our cars

no offense taken. but im trying to see what would work on the n/a motor and i have searched and its all aboout the turbo upgrade. i must not be searching right or something.

i was just wounderin if turbo injectors are better than the n/a injectors or if they will work on that kinda car.

so i can take a mas from a maxima and it will be better than the stock one? if so what years can i get it from. so i just need the ecu wireing harness and the mas? im new so i need alittle help please?

sorry to go off the subject of the tb but wanted to know also if there are benifits of port mathing the intake manifold on a basiclly stock car but i do have the cold air intake on it but don't know if thats would help with the port matching also thanks all.

hey all i keepp seeing that alot of u guys have an upgraded mass air flow sensor. i would really like to know where i can get it from and what i have to do too make it work. i have a 81 280zx non turbo.

i never said the ze ever came in the mx3 i said thats what they swap into them i dont know whay u are so up on the ze anyways the bpt from japan from what i have seen so far tears up the ze when modded right but in a z u should do the v8 or l28et in it im probably going to swap out for a l28et in mine but its up to how much u wanna spend also i would look at the weight or ur probe against the z ur probe might be lighter than the z so u will have to do more than mod it alittle bit imo u can get more out of the l28et than that klze motor. but like i said its up to how much u wanna spend on it.

i used to know mazda motors the klze is what they put in probes and mx3s mainly the mxs but in my opinion u would probably be better of if ur going to spend alot of cash to just get the v8 conversion and do that or if u are low i would put the turbo l28et in the car. i drove a stock turbo z and they are pretty quick i think i read somewhere they are pushin 190 hp stock. alot of guys here just build up the l28et and are pushin more than what that klze would do. thats just my 2 cents

hey all i was wounderin if the stock sway bar on a 81 280zx non turbo is a 23mm or 22mm. And also would like to find out if the bars on the turbo model is the same or if it would be better thatn the one i have for front and back thanks guys

thanks guys for the info my car is all stock except for the intake on it. I am going to get a new cat for it and a good muffler to. I also wanted to find out what the maximum drop is that i can put on it. I think these cars look awsome with a slam on them. Well if there is anymore info i should know on this car let me know cause im new to it. thanks all

Hey all i have a 81 280zx non turbo engine and i want to start doing mods to it and I see alot of u guys here have alot of knoladge on this car my first step i was thinking about was exhaust for the car like a header and a custom pipe to a good muffler but i was wounderin what some of u had on your cars as in pipe size muffler and where i can get a header for it. I also saw that some of u have front bumper kits on them and where u get them at cause i hate the stock one. And what parts can interchange on this motor. Any advise would be appreciated thanks alot in advance.
