    WTB/WTT R180 setup

    I currently have a R200 in my 280z. I have acquired a Subi diff and need to get the mustache bar and other mounts for the R180 so I can bolt my subi diff up. Wondering if anyone would be willing to trade their R180 setup for my R200 setup?

     

    It is the factory R200 that the 78' 280z came with, I do not know the gear ratio currently.

    Like the title says. I am looking for an entire black interior. I have a full and in very good condition tan interior I would be willing to trade plus cash depending on the condition of your interior. Please let me know as soon as you can.

    STI Diff install, need some help!!

    Ok guys I need some help. After plenty of research and consideration I have decided to go with a STI Diff in my 280z. I have some questions as there is not really a clear cut thread answering everything I am wondering.

     

    My first question is, with installing the STI diff do I only need a R180 Mustache bar to bolt the STI diff in my Datsun or is there another custom mount (AZC, TTT, ETC..) that is need to mount the STI diff in the car?

     

    Second, do I have to have the Beta Motorsports or the like axle adapters to allow me to run my stock axles or is there any option to run my stock axles with the original companion flanges out of my current diff and swap them over to the STI diff?

     

    Third (I am pretty sure I know this one...) I can simply remove the stock drive shaft flange from the front section of my 280z diff and replace it in the STI diff as so I do not need to have a new drive shaft made?

    I ended up selling my 280z. Hence why I haven't been on here much lately. However; I have just acquired a 1978 280z with a LS1/T56 swap. Very glad to be back in a S30 chassis. Enjoy the pictures guys. And I hope to get back to posting updates of my progress on the car.

    280z lock set

    I really appreciate it.

     

    Giving credit where credit is due. I dont know if everyone knows you work for TopSpeed. Our race shop. The brake ducts, radiator box, new tail light, exhaust inserts, hood modification, and a host of other items were all done by John. He is so busy working on my car that he hasn't touched his Z in two months. Your car is next............

    No worries. I do what I can. You are truly a great friend and I truly don't mind not working on my Z. Rather work on yours anyways to be honest... I will call you first thing in the morning. And I will see you tomorrow.

    Well I have not been online or worked on the car for quite some time. Got a new job and have worked so much that the most I do to the Datsun is look at it as I walk through the garage to get inside. I have decided to change power plants though. I have ditched the RB20DET and have decided to go LS1/T56. My goals are simple with the LS1. Cam, intake, exhaust, tune and hope to make 450-475. I also have decided to change my fuel setup and run a larger 15-20gallon fuel cell with a surge tank setup. I hope to be able to have some time here soon to start on the project again.

    74 260z w 280zxt swap running, no dents, primer black, new parts include- header gasket intake/exhaust gasket machened p90 head, tokico shocks, ignition, battery, door poppers, extra parts. pm if interested

    I have a very clean s130 for sale, but it sounds like your only looking for an s130. But I am pretty local.

     

    Yeah sorry only interested in a S30. Never was really a fan of the S130's. You have a nice Z though. Saw your Z on CL.
