That sure is a massive write up. Im doing the swap with a 6.0L and with all the writing youve done it almost makes it sound harder than it really is.

You could cut the feet on the rails and shorten them. Try just taking the seat out and looking at the rails and the possibly areas to drop the seat down.

I have read that the Holden oil pan was used in that article Z. What other oil pan options are there? I need it to be as low as possible. GTO oil pan? Camaro batwing pan? Holden? Which is going to give me the most clearance? Thanks!

I hope you realize your talking about fabricating a bunch of stuff on a motor that bolts directly in the car without any problems or changes in motor mount position or anything. I wouldnt even consider that a hybrid Z.
