so ive done my searches through most of the z forums and havent been able to narrow this down yet, so hopefully someone has some helpful suggestions. i bought my 76 280z back in january and it ran fine until about 2 weeks ago. for the last few weeks that it ran, I noticed it took a couple of cranks to get it to turn over when the engine was warm, and would turn over easily when cold.
so about 2 weeks ago i got pulled over by a cop and when i went to get back on the freeway it wouldnt start. since then i have towed it home, had the battery checked which oreilly told me was at 76%, i changed the starter. I checked the fusable links. so now im stumped. the battery is good , but lights and turn signals dont work. what else should i check?
one day when i went to check if it would start, the start clicked when i turned the key. i immediately tried to jump it at that point assuming a good connection with not enough juice. now its back to nothing happening when i turn the key.
any help is much appreciated, this is my first z car and im stumped here
