About Me
I bought my first Z a 260 new in 1974. I currently have two 240Zs, both 72s exactly 60 numbers apart. The older one is completely restored cosmetically, the original engine is rebuilt with a comp cam, header, ported and polished head (E88) deburred and polished interior of intake manifold, turbo oil pump, ARP bolts, balanced. Tokico inserts, Tockico springs (280Z Racing), all urethane bushings, ST anti-sway bars, front brake calipers are Toyota from mid 80s 4WD truck.
Body changes are minor, air dam added, all insignia removed except on the hatch, light weight fiberglass bumpers.
Just purchased a 2008 Subaru WRX STi rear differential with the Torsen lsd, will be installing before the start of this seasons autocross.
Member of the Autocross Club of Central Oregon. Got into autocross after most of the modification were made to the older Z, which puts me in the Modified class, soooo more power Scotty.
