when i take the turbo off to inspect it what should i be looking for, when i pull on the wastegate rod, it opens and closes, and the bov ajustment could cause slow spool?

Yah i have a 300zx also with a blown headgasket and that thing hits boost right away and you actually feel it. in my l28et zx turbo, i hear the turbo but barely feel it kick in, and it takes so long to start building boost. It starts to build boost at 3500 but doesnt hit full until about 4500-500 rpm. I live in orange county ca if if anyone would care to take a look at it. i would pay of course..

hey guys i have a huge problem that i need help with.. I am not hitting full boost until 4500 rpms. I thought that it was my crappy intercooler, but i just put a j-pipe on and still had the same results. i have good vacuum at idle. 17-18 on my vacuum gauge i dont think there are any leaks anywhere. the thing i am concerned about is the 2mm head gasket which lowered the compression and probably threw off the cam timing, but i dont know if this could be it. im tired of this car being so sluggish when it shouldnt be. l28et 3inch exhaust crane cams hi-6 ignition 8psi

yah i have a 78 that was originally auto with an r180, the rear end held for a few months after i installed the four speed but started to clunk, i just put as r200 3.54 out of a 78 and an l20 5speed in so im gonna see how it does. what are these r200's good up to horsepower wise?

I do have a 5spd out of an n/a zx which is in the 2+2 turbo, i also have a transmission that i think came out of a nissan truck because it says l20 on it instead of z, but it is the same style trans, i have heard that the 5spd out of a 720 has great low end first gear and good cruising final drive. But anyway, so the 3.54 would be the best even with a 2+2? do you know anything about the l20 5 speeds??

I have a 3.90 diff on my 2+2 turbo, i have heard that i am better off using a 3.54 diff setup with a turbo car since the turbo produces more boost under load. Im looking for great low end pull and best possible 0-60 time. has anyone experimented with this?? it would be nice to also have better cruising speed on the highway

About how much boost can be run using the stock turbo ECU, stock turbo injectors with increased fuel pressure? of course using an intercooler and free flowing 3ich exhaust

i have heard the p-79 is the same as the 9-90 with the exception of round exhaust ports with runners. Should the runners be removed? will there be a difference in flow, if so how are they removed?

i also have the 60mm throttle body with port matches intake

Can i run up to 15 psi with the added rising rate fuel pressure regulator? if not what boost can i run and what hp and tq numbers am i looking at?

With the following modifications, what boost can i run and what will be estimated horsepower given the mods. Crane cams hi-6 Highly efficient intercooler 2.5-3inch mandrel bent pumbing mandrel bent 2.5" downpipe RRFPR(increase in fp) 3" Exhaust w/ hi flow cat 2mm hks headgasket hks B.o.v 60mm Throttle body.... I am getting the intercooler and dp done right now now and i want to know how much boost to run and what power it will create. I have heard 260 max hp. but also on this forum i have seen 275@15psi
