So as of right now I have KYB coilovers all around on my 280zx but they're non adjustable. Ive been looking at the ground control coilovers so i can go a bit lower with my ZX but the fronts dont come with struts. Ive seen people modifying the OEM fronts to work with the ground control springs but im not that great with fabrication. So my quetion is, is there any front struts I can buy that the ground control sleeves will fit over no modification? Somthing like this? http://www.andysautosport.com/products/tokico__BZ3038.html

So my uncle has a spare L28 long block out of a 280z with a spare L24 head that I'm trying to buy and build he says if I were to put the L24 head on it would raise compression? So I was wondering if this was true/ what all would have to be done to make this work?

So I have an aftermarket sway bar on the front with poly bushings but the 2 brackets in the middle of the sway bar have broken and no parts store/ junk yard has any and I was wondering if anyone knows where they can be found. Thanks in advance

It's a 1980 and an analog gauge

The alternator is charging and its always showing around 14v with the dash lights still on. To add another thing while im stopped sometimes the dash light will go off but if i hit the brake pedal they will come back on or they come on and off over bumps

I have the same problem all the dash light come on but my volt meter stays the same could it be the same thing? And how long do i have until it fully goes out?

I put my 280 on a scale the other day came out to 2980 with me in the car i wieght about 140 and nothing is stripped all power options and T-Tops.

I have an 80 ZX that starts to miss fire or cut out around 1500-2k rpm only when the engine starts to get hot from the heat otherwise when its night and starts to cool down the car runs fine I really dont want to have to chase the problem and spend money so any help will be appreciated THANKS!!!!

I did finally get it started i will go buy the ignition switch tomorrow. What you described is exactly what is happening so i hope that is it.

Ive had my 1980 280zx for a year now recently every time i turn the key everything would come on normal then once i would turn it to start nothing would happen i would turn the key back and forth then eventually it would start. I woke up this morning to go to the gas station and now it just wont start at all doesn't even give me a clicking noise. I just replaced the coil and it still doesn't want to start. Thanks for the help.
