  1. finally went back there this week few hours here and there. Now the engine sits on the mounts i made. there is good clearance for turbo, everything is straight!
  2. It is a Garrett gt4202r (ball bearing) I polished the cover
  3. well after not working on it all summer i started working a bit on it. i made a mount to fit R230 differential. i did not pictures of it yet. i test fitted bare engine to see clearance and everithing will work fine now i am at making the engine mounts but i am leaving for 3 weeks, so i wont have time to make the mounts until i am back. but here are some pictures.
  4. pick up more parts here is the whole box of parts i just picked up. I will be set soon for the reassamble of the engine. arp stuff, (flywheel, rods, crank main, already had head studs) new rings, sandwich plate, inline turbo oil filter Titan dampner pulley, titan race timing belt Tilton flywheel, tilton tripple 7.25" discs to fit r154 input shaft, tilton aircraft bolts for pressure plate. ACL race bearings (rod and main) CROWER 280 cams Sorry if i posted it all like this. I already started posting on other site when i actually started and i just thought might as well share on here as well. so it is where i am at now and i will soon start assambeling this engine. and figure out engine mounts, finish engine and body wiring. then the rear end
  5. i made the harness lot skinnier
  6. Turbo the dog keeping the turbo project 1200cc high impedance bosh injectors 50mm bov and 60mm wastegate 1jz bellhousing, tilton tripple plate (pressure plate and floaters) discs in it are still nascar discs 2jzge intake manifold and throttle i had on my lexus 300zx (z32) r230 lsd rear end and drive shaft I started on engine harness
  7. I built my fuel rail and release bearing adapter plate for tilton tripple plate setup finished taking the head and block apart
  8. here is the story, a little while ago i picked up 1971 240z, she is a little rough on the cosmetic side but floors frame rails have been redone, there is already the toyota truck brake upgrade on the front and the 280zx rear disc conversion, she already has lowering springs on new shock inserts, also has a fuel cell. So my plans are to make it a race car and make it look nice inside out and install a 2jz ge (NA-T). i already have a bunch of parts left from my 1000whp 2jz sc300 lexus. I still need to get, tranny, rear end, drive shaft, wheels and tire anda lots of other things to build and put together the engine, but everything should come along durring the summer. Hoping on taking it out before the winter starts. I have been taking some pictures since i started on this here are some pictures no great quality pictures just to share! i started taking the dash apart to fix the spaghetti incident issue after taking out all the wires it was time to make the dash harness
