  1. Brian, got any pics of the rear seat area? I'd love to see the 2+2 but memory fails me since it's been a LONG time since I've seen one-
  2. fantastic-looking. Any rubbing issues? Lips rolled?
  3. If you haven't already checked into it, the crowd at z31performance.com has a sticky on NISTUNE and other popular engine managment mods for the VG30e and VG30et on their site. LOTS of your questions should be answered by folks WITH direct experience. I've got a VG30et project going (er, not going at the moment) and Nistune will probably be my choice when I get to that point. The only caveat is that most of the folks on that site are turbo'd, as opposed to N/A. -oh, and HA! be sure to read the "read this first" part of the thread, they're a little quick to flame newbies over there... ask me how I know... -Josh
  4. I've found a P90 head which I would like to rebuild for a mild l28. The problem is, the cam and cam towers (plus rockers etc.) are gone! No problem (other than core) on the cam as I was planning on a custom cam anyway, and I believe new rockers are a good idea as well, but... WHAT can I do for cam towers? Can I pull towers from any L28? I would imagine that internally oiled cams (like the p90) would have unique oil passages, is this true? Do I need to find towers specifically from a P90 and nothing else? Finally, I understand it would be a good idea to maintain the cam tower positions from the donor head, but is there enough variance in the machining from the factory that I'm "doomed" such that cam towers from one head will never "line up" on a different head and give a true line-bored center? If not, the aluminum towers are themselves the bearing surface, so I'm not sure if there would be any options to re-machine... Please help, ye who are much smarter than me!
  5. Considering a rebuild, and I'd obviously like to use an builder experienced with L-series engines. Anyone have recommendation of someone near Western North Carolina?
