  1. I am looking for a gauge cluster with either a modified stock tach and speedometer or with aftermarket tachometer and speedometer. I am using it with an rb25
  2. So, i have realized that my fiance is an idiot, bless her heart. But the kit will not work at all with my 280. So, i'm selling it for 1000 bucks for everything or trading it for mounts for my zx. Pass the word round.
  3. My fiance saw that i'd been looking at the kit and she purchased it. Theres no refunds so i already know i'm going to have to modify it but hopefully it isn't to much difficulty.
  4. So, anyone that could make me a mount i would be willing to purchase it. I don't really have a time restraint, i just want to be driving by the summer.

  8. I will upload the msq tomorrow, I am using the '83 dizzy and i meant to say Megasquirt 1. Rpm signal is steady, i have guessed towards the coil. I ordered a new Z31 coil and it should be here tomorrow. Could a bad coil cause weak spark?
  9. Just did output test mode and got the same results. One nice thick spark, and then spaghetti sparks.
  10. Hey everyone! I have just finished reassembling my motor after fixing a headgasket. Before the headgasket the car ran, but stuttered on any acceleration, which i attributed to blown hg. I tried to start it today and only got an occasional backfire. So i put a plug in the main coil wire and i was getting one good spark and the rest were VERY weak, Almost to the point to where i couldnt see them in my pitch black garage. My cranking dwell is 6.0ms just as it was before and i have a brand new hei module. Does anyone have any idea as to why my car would get one good spark and then next to no sparks for the rest of cranking?

  12. As title states, looking for an aftermarket 280z or 280zx fuel rail, not going to spend over $100. Also looking for a shaved intake manifold, will negotiate as needed.
  13. Thank you! This fixed my problem. But now when im driving at WOT it hits 3000 and acts like a spark cut rev limiter. If i hold it on it long enough it starts to pop and bang, my rev limiter is set at 5500 and launch control at 4500.

  15. Fric frac, i dont think i am. I usually set the ego correction rpm to 9000. I am using msns extra with the v3 board, i THINK. Here's my logsand .msq Completely stock l28ET with supra yellowtop 305cc injectors Turbo charge piping disconnected until i get it base tuned Diy Autotune WB Tuned it so i can actually drive but it is rich at idle, and lean at high throttle/high load New folder.zip EDIT: fixed
  16. Hello everyone, ive finally gotten my car running and idling well, it idles around 13.5 to 14 afr. When i put it in gear and try to either back up or move fowards to datalog, it bucks and the afr's go lean and it stalls. I'll increase the VE's around the area when it leans out and it continues to lean out. im using a timing map from someone in the map sharing post so im not sure if thats the reason. if neccesary ill post my map and datalog.   19. Hey everyone, i just bought an l28et with no wiring harness or ecu, i want to use the stock dizzy for ignition and ms for fuel but every tutorial i see is for msns and not just ms. Can someone link me to a megasquirt fuel only installation guide?
  20. I am looking for either a turbo manifold from an l28et or an msd ignition. The manifold doesn't have to be immaculate but i will be using it. I am also looking for a fuel rail if possible, thank you.
  21. Well hello there, my name is jacob, i am the proud owner of a 1983 datsun 280zx 5 speed NA. I've decided to replace a faulty FPR and figured id take my spare turbo parts and turbocharge the engine. I've got an inter-cooler and a stock-ish size turbo with a 1/2 bar wastegate. I like to think that im pretty knowledgeable about engines but someone told me to set my ignition timing at 24 degrees and lock out the mechanical advance. I know neither how to set my ignition timing, nor how to lock out the dizzy. So if someone could help me out with those two things i would be VERY grateful. Much appreciated
